There is an interesting background to the Cambodia gambling halls that reside just over the border from next door Thailand, where gambling den gaming is banned. Eight gambling halls are based in a relatively small space in the city of Poipet in Cambodia. This group of Cambodia casinos is in an excellent destination, a 3 to four hour drive from Bangkok and Macao, the two most popular gaming centers in Asia. Additionally, there is the Casino Tropicana, with one hundred and thirty five one armed bandits and 66 of the familiar gaming tables, as well as one table of Casino Stud Poker. One more of the eight casinos in Poipet, again a part of a motel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six slot machine games and 97 games. The Star Vegas Casino is is located in an all-around resort and hotel compound that features a number of luxuries accompanying the gambling den, which provides 10,000 sq.ft. of 130 slot machines and eighty eight tables.
